CEN attracts highly qualified and motivated researchers from all over the world. In our three-year PhD program you will explore novel materials using advanced electron microscopy in an exciting new and advanced microscopy centre.

Who can be a PhD Student?

 

We are seeking highly qualified candidates with a focused interest on research and both national and international candidates may apply.  The language of instruction is English.  

 

What are the research areas?

 

As mentioned above, we use advanced electron microscopy to look at novel materials which may include:

  • catalysts
  • semiconductors
  • polymers
  • nanostructures 

Potential supervisors include: Jakob Birkedal Wagner and Andy Horsewell.

Who do I contact at Cen?

 

Contact between the potential supervisor and PhD candidate is a firm prerequisite before an application may be made. Before contacting a potential supervisor make sure that the PhD position corresponds with your academic profile and qualifications. 

 

As a part of the admission procedure, an interview with CEN's Director and the Head of the PhD Program is compulsory.
