The NATEC project is a colloboration between several departments at DTU. It includes nanofabrication, theory and device characterization and optimization.
Photonic crystals structures and semi-conductor quantum dots provide new possibilities for controlling the properties of photons and electrons at a fundemental level.
The work at DTU Cen involves charaterization of semiconductor quantum dots. The optical and electronic properties of quantum dots are believed to be largely affected by their structures and chemical compositions.
